Just a heads-up: the clips aren’t compatible with two Tall Chairs or non-Shibumi chairs. They’re built specifically for our gear. Less hauling, more lounging. That’s how we do beach days.

    Broken clips

    I was able to use the clip system one time. As I was lowering the chairs off my back the second one popped off. Originally I just thought maybe it wasn’t secured properly but after looked at it, the plastic broke.

    Chair clips

    Great idea but there should be a way to lock the chairs together, when walking if you bump into anything the chairs come apart.

    Good concept, but needs work!

    We have 4 chairs but are only using 3 at the moment, since our 2nd child is only 10m old. I carry my chair and NY husband carries his and our 6 year old's. The two chairs are nearly impossible to get on his back without assistance. I can't really help because I'm holding the baby, so he hooks them together, carefully swings them onto his back and more days than not, at least one side would come unhooked and it would hit him. After a week at the beach, the backs of of ankles are black, blue and cut up. I loved the idea of these, and they could make getting to the beach much more efficient...but I won't buy the second set we need for the other chairs until these get another round of engineering.

    Chair clips

    The chair clips are a great idea but still need some improvement. The magnets should be stronger & the connections a little heavier. It's hard to keep them connected.

    Love my 2 shibumi chairs and carry clips! It makes the trek to the concert grounds or to the walk to the beach a breeze for two!

    Doesn’t work great

    The chair clips do not hold good enough and while you are walking and the chairs are bouncing around they will come unclipped and fall. They need some kind of better locking mechanism so they don’t come unhooked so easily.

    Clips Don't Work

    We LOVE our chairs, but the clips do not work - cumbersome to get them to attach and the second chair often falls off.
