Will The Shibumi Chair Rust?
The Shibumi Beach Chair is designed to resist rust and corrosion significantly longer than conventional beach chairs. With stainless steel hardware and a powder coated aluminum frame, the Shibumi Beach chair is designed to hold up to a wide range of conditions, particularly the salt, sand, and sun at the beach.
Is there a Warranty on the Shibumi Chair?
We know that not everything always works out how it should. A perfect beach week gets ruined by rain, a vacation gets off to a slow start with a flat tire, and your beach gear gets damaged and you aren’t sure how to fix it.
We want to make it right for you with our limited lifetime warranty. If something happens to your Shibumi Chair – and it’s on us – contact us and we’ll repair or replace it for you.
If it’s something else that happens – a kid (or a flying fish) puts a hole in your fabric, you lose a cup holder for the chair – contact us, and we’ll still work with you to fix that too.

❌ Two Shibumi Tall Chairs – Not compatible. The chair clip does not support two Tall Chairs due to their unique construction.
❌ Non-Shibumi Chairs – Not supported. Chair clips are designed exclusively for Shibumi Chairs and won’t fit other brands.

As an avid beach goer, I have to say this is the best chair I've had. It is SUPER comfortable, cute, sturdy, and not too heavy. It comes in a variety of colors and held up well all three weeks we were at the beach. The clip to connect the two chairs together worked really well too. We got this chair for my 82-year old husband. He has trouble getting out of the lower chairs, especially at the beach.
Haven’t used it yet, but it passed the test in the living room!
Only challenge we had was figuring out how to open the chair back up after you get the clips attached. Finally kind of fell into the solution. Easy after that. Could use a video link to watch.
