    Love this addition to our Shibumi Shade

    This recent purchase is actually our second as somehow our first got misplaced. We felt it imparative to have the wind assist as in years past it was greatly needed. Fortunately this year we didn't need it given we were dealing with 25mph winds for the entire week at the beach. We will simply set it aside for next year as we've needed it in the past.

    Didn’t help

    First and foremost, I absolutely love the shibumi shade. It has been one of the greatest purchases I have ever made. As a family that spends 3-4 weeks at the beach each year in Florida. It has been a life saver. The only problem we ever had was when the wind is non existent. It doesn’t happen often but it is disappointing when there is no wind. So I purchased the wind assist with the idea it would help with little to no wind and found they didn’t preform well at all. They didn’t seem to help keep the shade up and would constantly move with the littlest wind causing the shade to work less. I may end up asking for a refund as they were not helpful at all. But this is in no way indicative of this brand or the shade. I still love our shade and would highly recommend it to everyone. Just not the wind assists.

    Using shibumi on the beach

    I really like the convenience and the amount of shade my shibumi provides. I would let people know that they are being banned from some beaches because of how much room they take up. I know specifically they are banned from beaches on LBI NJ from Memorial day to Labor Day. I’m sure other beaches are doing it too. Check your beach rules!! They are expensive!

    Wind assist

    We used the wind assist one time on our trip to the beach this year and it was a huge help! However, our Shibumi shade is torn in a corner which we did not think was possible! This happened before and it was replaced. I hope this will be addressed. Thanks!
