New Product Launches:
- Develop marketing materials for new product launches including but not limited to: one sheets, product name + descriptions, key messages and positioning
- Establish project timelines and ensure cross-functional teams are clear on expectations and deliverables
- Concept and execute go-to-market campaigns
- Brief, collaborate with, and manage creative agencies and/or freelance resources for such initiatives as: product packaging design, photo + video asset production for multi-channel launch communications
Creative & Design Management:
- Support creative development across owned, earned, and paid channels including, but not limited to: web, email, wholesale, social, print & digital advertising, printed collateral, product packaging, brand collaborations and more
- Manage relationships with external creative partners including agencies, freelancers and contributors
Messaging Development & Copywriting:
- Develop and manage messaging across all external channels including press materials, social media, email communications and printed collateral
- Write copy for marketing initiatives including but not limited to new product launches, web copy, printed collateral and email communications
Brand Strategy & Strategic Storytelling:
- Nurture and drive brand strategy for Shibumi that highlights brand commitments, heightens awareness, builds relevance, and supports key business objectives
- Ensure brand visuals and voice are strategically aligned and consistent across channels
- Help develop and drive integrated annual communications calendar
- Elevate our creative development, original content and storytelling capabilities
Influencer Marketing Management:
- Manage freelancer where needed
- Work closely with Social and Performance Marketing team to leverage Influencer content effectively across both social media and paid
Partnerships, Events and General Brand Marketing:
- Ideate and execute strategic consumer initiatives, events, partnerships and special projects designed to achieve desired positioning while ensuring impactful media and social coverage
- Help develop and execute Brand Partnerships strategy
- Help develop and execute national Events & Activations strategy
PR Support:
- Day to day management of PR agency/freelancer
- Help develop necessary materials for pitching such as messaging documents and asset libraries
Skills, Experience & Requirements
Role-specific
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in brand marketing or related fields
- Strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts
- Proven ability to build and drive multichannel storytelling
- Experience in developing and managing campaigns with a strong ability to generate creative, innovative ideas
- Exceptional project management skills. Proven ability to handle time-sensitive projects and prioritize multiple objectives simultaneously, to work independently, and to drive projects to completion with minimum guidance and acute attention to detail
- Excellent written communication skills. Ability to write and edit communications and articulate the brand 'voice' in a creative, compelling, and witty manner
- Experience with Influencer marketing and a keen understanding of who is ‘brand-right’
- Finger on the pulse of pop culture with knowledge and understanding of buzzy brands, tastemakers and influencers
- Demonstrated ability to source and manage compelling, business-driving partnerships
- Strong understanding of ‘brand-right’ creative and what’s needed to develop it
- Prior experience overseeing PR agencies and a general understanding of the PR landscape
- Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side
- Ability to travel to events as needed
