Is there a Warranty on the Shibumi Chair?

We know that not everything always works out how it should. A perfect beach week gets ruined by rain, a vacation gets off to a slow start with a flat tire, and your beach gear gets damaged and you aren’t sure how to fix it.
We want to make it right for you with our limited lifetime warranty. If something happens to your Shibumi Chair – and it’s on us – contact us and we’ll repair or replace it for you.
If it’s something else that happens – a kid (or a flying fish) puts a hole in your fabric, you lose a cup holder for the chair – contact us, and we’ll still work with you to fix that too.

What are the carry clips used for?

✅ Two Shibumi Chairs – Compatible with two standard Shibumi Chairs. Easy to clip, easy to carry.
✅ One Shibumi Chair + One Shibumi Tall Chair – Mix and match? No problem! Works perfectly with one Tall and one standard Shibumi Chair.
❌ Two Shibumi Tall Chairs – Not compatible. The chair clip does not support two Tall Chairs due to their unique construction.
❌ Non-Shibumi Chairs – Not supported. Chair clips are designed exclusively for Shibumi Chairs and won’t fit other brands.

Love This Tall Chair
Love this chair, very comfortable! I bought the tall chair and really like it. I love how easy it is to get in and out of. I do wish it had a bigger cup holder but that would not stop me from buying another one! Thanks Shibumi for making a great chair!

Love these chairs

Love my beach chair
I can’t say enough good things about this beach chair. I love the breathable material. No towel required to sit on as this chair and the material is so comfortable. Perfect for a wet swimmer after a dip in the ocean. Definitely worth the money as it’s anti rust and easy to clean. Treat yourself. You will not be disappointed!

Oceanfront resident who has owned many chairs over the years
I’ve purchased “the ultimate chair” many times over the years. They all brand well, cost a pretty penny, and end up being uncomfortable, cheap metal, cheap hinges, trivial accessories.
Gave another go this year with Shimbumi Chair. It’s the best I’ve purchased in three decades. It’s seriously solid. The hinges are beefy and easy close - lock into place - and are not endanger of breaking. No clanking no rattling, and the metal and powder coating are real marine grade metal and powder coating. American?!? If you’ve lived long enough - you can feel coat cutting and everything - when I used my Shibumi chair - my thoughts were - “holy crap they actually did it, they gave me a solid long lasting product that will likely never need to be replaced.” Wow! The accessories are just enough - Scandinavian approved. In goes my phone, cigar, lighter, cigar cutter, beverage, surfboard wax - and I’m all set. It is the most ergonomic/ comfortable chair too.
Shibumi, I own your sail as well - thank you for creating the sail anchors for non - windy days. My only note to Shibumi is don’t let corporate bean counters convince you to cut corners to save cost for more profit. Instead build upon your product - your customer wants perfection, not crap and right now you guys have nailed perfection!
Highly recommend Shibumi products - pay a little more and get a whole lots more!

tall chair
i got my chair yesterday and used it this morning at wrightsville beach,nc. love the chair. you do not need a taller chair since on the beach you can use your feet to move sand to give you more than 17 inches height. i needed a taller chair since i have cancer and back issue. i love this chair and just bought another one for my brother that has helped me the past 6 months. we grew up being on the beach since the 60s.

Highly recommend!
I ordered 2 tall chairs as a Father’s Day gift for my husband, and we both love them. They are light to carry and very comfortable. The drink and phone holder accessories are awesome too. The taller chairs were especially helpful for our daughter to use with our new granddaughter, and much easier my husband’s parents to use. Our whole group wanted to sit in them!
