    Expensive

    I was disappointed in having to purchase this to correct an engineering deficiency. It would have been nice for these to have been offered at a discounted price to long time customers. I will recommend that Shibumi reconsider their design to include a second "pole" for the back side.

    SHIBUMI Wind Assist

    I did not use the Wind Assist yet (going back to OBX the end of August). The last time we were there we had a period of time with no wind and another time that the wind was brisk. Hopefully this Wind Assist will help (based on the design and construction) I'm sure the problem is resolved. shipping was quick and had no issues. I like all the SHIBUMI products I have.

    Awesome! Life is good with Wind Assist.

    This is my fourth year with the classic Shibumi. The Wind Assist is a game changer. Easy to setup and take down.

    The wind assist is a option you thought you never needed, I was so wrong. First thing you notice is the extended shade. Second it cuts down on the flapping that creates noise, this is eliminated with the wind assist.

    The small pack to hold the wind assist is a nice feature. In the next upgrade would be nice to have velcro closures.

    Just my engineering mind working overtime on the beach. Great job guys and ladies.

    Love this addition to our Shibumi Shade

    This recent purchase is actually our second as somehow our first got misplaced. We felt it imparative to have the wind assist as in years past it was greatly needed. Fortunately this year we didn't need it given we were dealing with 25mph winds for the entire week at the beach. We will simply set it aside for next year as we've needed it in the past.
