Just a heads-up: the clips aren’t compatible with two Tall Chairs or non-Shibumi chairs. They’re built specifically for our gear. Less hauling, more lounging. That’s how we do beach days.

    Life saver

    These are a brilliant invention. A total game changer going to the beach being able to put 2 chairs on one person’s back! We always have so much stuff to carry and especially when I’m with my kids without my husband this is most helpful so we can carry everything in one trip! I highly recommend.

    Works as advertised and easy to install and then use each day at the beach. Another great shibumi product!

    Very handy!

    The clips work as advertised and make it easy to carry 2 chairs. A little tricky the first time but once you figure it out they are great. We are more than pleased with our chairs. Just ordered the oversize cup holders.

    Carry Clips

    The two chair carry clips are nice. I do find they slide a bit causing misalignment and you have to be gentle when putting on your back if they are already connected. Still a nice design.

    Clips difficult

    We find the clips very difficult to use. The chairs come apart very easily. Just carrying them is much easier. We regret spending the money for the clips

    Great idea, needs improvement.

    I really like the idea of being able to comfortably carry two chairs. However, this needs improvement. The carry clips should snap/lock into place. My chairs have come apart while carrying on multiple occasions which is wildly frustrating in the moment. The first time I used them I bent over to pick up my beach bag in the parking lot and the back chair slipped out and fell to the asphalt. I was very upset as I hadn't even gotten the chair on the beach yet. I now have to squat carefully to pick anything up. This has happened multiple times on the beach as well.

    Another minor complaint, the carry clips sometimes slide along the tube. I then have to realign them so that can match up. I'm thinking of getting them perfectly lined up and using a Sharpie to mark where they are supposed to be.

    At the end of the day, I would purchase these again. I'm hoping to purchase improved models in the future.
