Will The Shibumi Chair Rust?
The Shibumi Beach Chair is designed to resist rust and corrosion significantly longer than conventional beach chairs. With stainless steel hardware and a powder coated aluminum frame, the Shibumi Beach chair is designed to hold up to a wide range of conditions, particularly the salt, sand, and sun at the beach.
Is there a Warranty on the Shibumi Chair?
We know that not everything always works out how it should. A perfect beach week gets ruined by rain, a vacation gets off to a slow start with a flat tire, and your beach gear gets damaged and you aren’t sure how to fix it.
We want to make it right for you with our limited lifetime warranty. If something happens to your Shibumi Chair – and it’s on us – contact us and we’ll repair or replace it for you.
If it’s something else that happens – a kid (or a flying fish) puts a hole in your fabric, you lose a cup holder for the chair – contact us, and we’ll still work with you to fix that too.

❌ Two Shibumi Tall Chairs – Not compatible. The chair clip does not support two Tall Chairs due to their unique construction.
❌ Non-Shibumi Chairs – Not supported. Chair clips are designed exclusively for Shibumi Chairs and won’t fit other brands.

Totally worth the money and customer service was excellent to deal with. UPS lost our first order, Shibimi replaced it quickly and then when the lost order showed up they quickly sent labels to send that order back. Very pleased!

We absolutely love this chair. We purchased one to see how we like it compared to our Sunflow chairs. We could possibly get a few more summers or of our existing chairs but they are cumbersome to use and are not comfortable. The Shibumi chair is very high quality and easy to carry and set up. The best part is they are so very comfortable to sit in and so easy to get in and out.
We're watching for sales and plan to replace all of our chairs with the Shibumi chairs.

This chairs sits a bit higher than my longtime favorite brand and it’s slightly wider. As a 6’ 2” 275 lb man in his mid-fifties, these minor tweaks make a big difference. The mesh seats allow a gentle ocean breeze to cool on a hot day and the slide-on accessory XL cup holder is pure genius.

I love this chair. I’ve owned a lot of beach chairs over the years and this is the best one. We live at the beach and this lightweight chair makes my days even better. We also use them when we attend our grandchildren’s soccer and softball games. The only thing I would change is I would have liked the pink.

Been eyeing out these chairs for so long and looked at other cheaper options. So glad I waited as now we live near the beach, so felt I could justify the price. They are incredibly comfortable, surprisingly lightweight for the size and clearly durable. The included cell phone pocket is very handy as is the cup holder. Loving my first few times with them at the beach! The only addition I would wish for is that it could lay completely flat. Also future accessories like a detachable face shade for the days you don’t want to setup your shibumi shade and a neoprene bag to attach to the back of the chair for bigger items or maybe a small cooler. And some towel hooks. I know these can all be purchased elsewhere but I love having all my items from the same brand. A happy returning customer!
