"Awesomeness!! - We are huge beach people! As it happens eventually with us all, we are getting older. We find the typically beach chairs less comfortable and more difficult to sit in for an extended period of time. These chairs are awesome! No metal bar uncomfortably positioned against lower back, easy to get in and out of, great adaptable cup holder for any type/size and thoughtful cell phone and sunglass pouch!! Will The Shibumi Chair Rust?

The Shibumi Beach Chair is designed to resist rust and corrosion significantly longer than conventional beach chairs. With stainless steel hardware and a powder coated aluminum frame, the Shibumi Beach chair is designed to hold up to a wide range of conditions, particularly the salt, sand, and sun at the beach.
Is there a Warranty on the Shibumi Chair?

We know that not everything always works out how it should.  A perfect beach week gets ruined by rain, a vacation gets off to a slow start with a flat tire, and your beach gear gets damaged and you aren’t sure how to fix it. 

We want to make it right for you with our limited lifetime warranty.  If something happens to your Shibumi Chair – and it’s on us – contact us and we’ll repair or replace it for you. 

If it’s something else that happens – a kid (or a flying fish) puts a hole in your fabric, you lose a cup holder for the chair – contact us, and we’ll still work with you to fix that too.

What are the carry clips used for?

✅ One Shibumi Chair + One Shibumi Tall Chair – Mix and match? No problem! Works perfectly with one Tall and one standard Shibumi Chair.

❌ Two Shibumi Tall Chairs – Not compatible. The chair clip does not support two Tall Chairs due to their unique construction.

❌ Non-Shibumi Chairs – Not supported. Chair clips are designed exclusively for Shibumi Chairs and won’t fit other brands.

    The Shibumi Tall Chairs are amazing! We have 4 to be exact! They are the best chairs for the beach! They are worth every Penney for sure! Extremely comfortable and I love that you can recline, great for taking a nap on the beach! The 17” height is perfect, I have a disability with my hip and can easily get out of these chairs with no issue. Thank you for making an amazing product! I love my Shibumi shade as well! Beach trips made easy! Worth all the money invested for sure!!!!

    This was our second chair we have purchased. Very expensive beach chair but worth every penny. Most comfortable beach chair we have ever used. Very durable after a year of use. Powder coating holding up great, no corrosion. Still opens/closes very easy. No sagging or visible wear of the seating. Does not stain suits or discolor when contacted with sun screened skin. Light-weight and easy to carry. Our adult-age kids fight over who gets the Shibumi when I am not sitting in it. Great chair for my 6'3" 250lb frame.

    Receive chair within 2 to 3 days so not a surprise for Father’s Day since so early, but he loves it made a very sturdy material lightweight and really nice not having to squat down so low being nearly 70 awaiting a personal shade for the chair so we can sit up close to the beach and instead of the big flappy shade that they make us sit at the back of the beach on our beach in Orange Beach Perdido Key, Alabama, very courteous Bynum manager, and once wear out other chairs plan on getting another
