I genuinely love how fast the setup is. Their social media manager (Beth) is amazing and helped me get the colors i want! Even alerting me to their restock when they found some in their warehouse! 10/10 recommend and i can't wait to get their tall chair!!

I initially bought the other type of beach shade that you fill the bags with sand and prop up with sticks a few weeks ago and I will say if it had not been as windy when we first used it, it may have worked, unfortunately for them and my pride it did not. Needless to say we bagged it back up and sent it back that day and I ordered the SHIBUMI SHADE while i baked in the sun. Once received it only took a few minutes to set it up and even less to take it down. As we sat under its shade I believe I sold 3 to two couples walking down the beach and 1 to the couple sitting beside us under a pitiful umbrella. I sat sipped on a beer and admired my purchase all day! :)

I brought a Shibumi mini with me from North Carolina for a 3 week beach road trip along the coast of Mozambique. The mini easily fits inside a standard carry on bag, diagonally, but I carried it as my personal item.
It's been perfect (I'm still on week one) and I would not have been able to be on the beach much without it. There are no beach stores selling umbrellas or other beach shelters here. And even if I was able to find an umbrella, there's no way it would stand up to the wind or be as portable.
The design is absolutely flawless, now that they've made them with quieter fabric. The loud flapping noise the previous generation made was a deal breaker for me they were so loud.
Even the carrying case has a great design with a separate channel for the support rods. Plus, there's just enough room in the carrying case for a cell phone and a Bluetooth speaker.
Yes, they are expensive, but in this case you get what you pay for. I look it as a tool, and good tools are expensive and a pleasure to use.
Many days I'm the only one on the beach as far as the eye can see, and the beaches are all stunning, most accessible only with a 4x4.
Definitely the best purchase I've made in years.
