Bought one several years ago and found it to be better than advertised. We love it! (so do the dogs and grand kids.) Word of advice. Do not install objects that could catch the cover as it gracefully billows with the wind (Specifically, moron installed fishing rod holders with sharp catchy edges... I would have blame the wife but she defends herself quite well.) I used sail tape to make the quick repairs and the original shall be relegated to back up status. New Model is to be ordered after I send. I have also received heavy handed hints, that SHIBUMI ALSO HAS BEACH CHAIRS... what could the
Queens' message possibly mean ? LOL. I am on it.

My wife purchased a Shibumi during this last Christmas. We finally had the opportunity to use it at Pensacola Beach in May. Where have you guys been? I wish I had this 20 years ago!! No more fighting the umbrellas, digging holes in the sand and constantly readjusting. We very much enjoyed our Shibumi. Easy to put up and take down. Thanks Shibumi Team!!

I lived in New Jersey for all of my life, and we recently moved to North Carolina. If you’re from here, you know you’ve seen at least one of these on the beach. It was something new to me and once I heard it was a locally based brand I knew I had to have one!
They held a contest releasing the new color ways for the shades and I found the orange and blue one! What a welcome gift to North Carolina that has become! We have a three year-old daughter so our beach trips could last 20 minutes or they could last a few hours; THIS RIGHT HERE……. This actually gives her plenty of shade to play in, which has elongated our beach trips, so it has been very nice and the shade keeps you cooler!
I was shocked with how much shade this actually provides and how effective of a product it is, especially with the wind assist.
Not only is it a great product, they have such wonderful customer service! Every time I comment on social media, someone always returns my comment back! If I ever have any questions to answer me immediately.
I would 11/10 recommend this to any beach goer!
