  • Will The Shibumi Chair Rust?

    The Shibumi Beach Chair is designed to resist rust and corrosion significantly longer than conventional beach chairs. With marine grade stainless steel hardware and a powder coated aluminum frame, the Shibumi Beach chair is designed to hold up to a wide range of conditions, particularly the salt, sand, and sun at the beach.

  • Is there a Warranty on the Shibumi Chair?

    We know that not everything always works out how it should.  A perfect beach week gets ruined by rain, a vacation gets off to a slow start with a flat tire, and your beach gear gets damaged and you aren’t sure how to fix it. 

    We want to make it right for you with our limited lifetime warranty.  If something happens to your Shibumi Chair – and it’s on us – contact us and we’ll repair or replace it for you. 

    If it’s something else that happens – a kid (or a flying fish) puts a hole in your fabric, you lose a cup holder for the chair – contact us, and we’ll still work with you to fix that too.

    Beach chair

    Great design

    Comfort best of any beach chairs we have had in decades

    Haven’t gotten the adjustable straps for the backpack carry in correct position yet

    Reminds me of the Lloyd’s outdoor furniture from the 70s great fabric and design

    Would be better if layed flat but all positions are very comfortable

    The frame seems to be powder coated or something that prevents sand from sticking to it which is nice when have to pack up to leave beach

    Love the chairs

    Expensive but seem well worth it

    Nicely Done!

    The delivery was fast. The chairs are really well built. Haven't tried them out on the beach yet but they sit very comfortably, Lightweight and the mesh material should be very breathable, Can't wait to set them up under our Shibumi shace!

    We’ve had a couple classic Shibumi shades for years which we love so we had to try the new Shibumi chairs! We started with buying 2 and already love them so we just ordered 2 more! Easy to carry to the beach since they’re lightweight and very comfortable. Please keep making even more beach items - it’s improved hauling everything to the beach and made our vacations even more enjoyable.

    Cute, comfortable, well built, lightweight. The head rest is perfect whether you're sitting up or laying back. Roomy! I'm glad I bought them. Ordered Easter Sunday (evening) and they were at my door by Tuesday at 2pm.
