You’ll help bring the Shibumi brand to life through story-driven content that celebrates life outside: from the laughter that carries on the wind to the simple joy of shade and connection.
This is a fully remote role, but we’re looking for someone based near the coast who can regularly capture authentic, beachside content throughout the year.

Support the Social Media & Content Manager in maintaining the posting calendar, brainstorming campaigns, and ensuring consistent storytelling across channels.
-
Engage authentically with followers, comments, and creators to foster community and connection.
-
Identify and adapt emerging social trends, audios, and formats to keep Shibumi content fresh and relevant.
-
Support content creation and optimization for Meta (Instagram & Facebook), YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest.
-
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in social media content creation or digital marketing (brand or agency).
- Proven experience creating short-form video content for TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
- Strong understanding of social media best practices, analytics, and trends.
- Video editing skills (CapCut, Final Cut, or similar tools).
- Photography skills, including the ability to capture high-quality lifestyle and product images in natural outdoor environments.
- Excellent written, visual, and storytelling abilities.
- Based in a coastal or beach community (required for regular on-location content capture).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic startup environment, balancing autonomy with strong collaboration across teams.
- Proven flexibility and composure in managing quick-turn projects while maintaining attention to detail.
