    Do not worry about the sound

    I did a lot of research on shade options for the beach last year (FL Gulf coast here) and I almost did not but the Shibumi because one of the consistent critiques I saw was the "sound of the Shibumi flapping in the wind". Ultimately, I did get the Shibumi and I have never once thought the sound of the flapping was too much. Honestly, it does not even register %90 of the time.

    In regards to the mini vs the full size, the mini suits us well. We are a married couple with no kids but often bring our young nieces to the beach or their parents and the mini shades 3 chairs just fine with room on the ground for one of the girls to lay in the shade if they want- unless you consistently go to the beach in groups of 6 or more- it is worth considering the mini. if you are 5 people who plan to sit in the shade the whole time- maybe you should consider the full size, but if you take turns playing in the water or laying in the sun, the mini is the perfect amount of shade. I feel like 4 people could use the shade of the mini consistently without much issue.

    Total five star purchase here, this was easily the best beach purchase I made in 2023 and I still catch myself marveling at the fact that we used to go to the beach without any type of shade at all haha. Lightweight and easy- this is an easy thing to task one to the kids with carrying.

    Shabumi comes to St Barts

    Love our Wrightsville Beach large Shabumi but when we were traveling g to St Barts l, we borrowed a friend’s Mini that would fit in carry on. She’s a real Peche 🍑

    New Mini;

    My wife and I have enjoyed our new Mini shade this summer. Having owned our first Shibumi for three years we find that its smaller footprint works well for the two of us. On weekends when our Grandchildren visit with us , I put up our larger shade for the family. This winter when we visit Jensen Beach ,FL we will be packing the new Mini! The amount of new Shibumi's we see here in Va Beach have

    more than tripled since we purchased ours. Keep up the good work.

    Double shades

    Love these shades! We have a regular size shade that we sit under and a mini shade that we erect behind the other one. We use the mini to store coolers, carts, and boogie boards so they won’t get hot in the sun. We’ve had the regular size for 4 years and it has held up very well. Highly recommend
